Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Transfer to your lodge in Arusha.
Meet your guide/photographic safari leader for a briefing on the upcoming adventure.
Rest and prepare your photography equipment.
Overnight stay Four Points by Sheraton Arusha or similar.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park Arusha

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park.
Arrive in Tarangire and start your first game drive.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse birdlife, offering excellent photographic opportunities.
Drive back to the lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation.
Proceed for a late afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park Tarangire

Early morning game drive in Tarangire for sunrise photography.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Explore the park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and varied landscapes ranging from forests to grassy plains.
Lunch at the lodge and afternoon relaxing.
Depart for a late afternoon game drive and photography sessions.
Dinner and overnight stay at Manyara Heritage Safari Lodge or similar

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park Lake Manayara

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, stopping at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a viewpoint overlooking the crater.
Continue to Serengeti with game drives en route.
Arrive in Serengeti and start exploring this iconic park, known for its vast savannahs and abundance of wildlife.
Lunch at the lodge or camp.
Afternoon game drive with opportunities to photograph the Big Five and other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight stay at a Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or similar.

Day 5-6: Serengeti National Park Serengeti

Spend the next two days exploring different regions of the Serengeti, following the movements of the wildlife.
Early morning and late afternoon game drives for optimal photography lighting.
Capture the Great Migration if visiting during the migration season (typically between June and September).
Take advantage of photographic opportunities during predator-prey interactions, river crossings (if applicable), and stunning landscapes.
Picnic lunches or bush breakfasts to maximize time in the field.
Dinner and overnight Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area serengeti

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Optional morning game drive in Serengeti before leaving the park.
Arrive at the crater rim by late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
Capture unique shots of wildlife within the crater, including rhinos, lions, and flamingos.
Picnic lunch within the crater.
Ascend back to the crater rim in the late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 9-10: Ngorongoro to Arusha, Departure Arusha

After breakfast, depart from Ngorongoro and drive back to Arusha.
Depending on your departure flight time, you may have the option to visit a local market or shop for souvenirs.
Lunch in Arusha.
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure, or continue with your onward travel arrangements.
