The Commodore Hotel is an iconic hotel in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. It’s in the centre of all of the city’s greatest highlights including the famous Table Mountain cable car. The interior of the Commodore Hotel is a nautical theme that can be seen throughout and is somewhat fitting being in close proximity to the harbour and the Atlantic Ocean. The Clipper is the restaurant at the Commodore Hotel and it serves fresh seafood as well as a mixture of both local and international cuisine, all with South African flair. There is a beautiful terrace in a courtyard with a fishpond water feature.
Start your tour by heading towards Cape Point: the scenic drive will take you to the south western tip of the Cape Peninsula. Meander along the Atlantic coast, passing Sea Point, Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles mountain outcrops. Once at Hout Bay you can take an optional boat trip to Duiker Island (for Own account & time permitting) to see the Cape Fur Seals. Next we travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve with its abundant fauna and flora. We continue along False Bay with a stop at historic Simons Town to visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (for own account) passing the village Fish Hoek and seaside Muizenberg. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens is next before returning to Cape Town.

At the upper cable station, guests will find a restaurant and a curio shop as well as some footpaths for exploration.
